As part of the V&A Neighbourhood Awards, this category celebrates the people that make our neighbourhood truly special, as chosen by you. After an exciting round where you put your favourites forward, it’s time for the second phase. Your voice will decide the winners for Best Retail, Best Eatery and Best Small Business.

How it works:

• Each award has 5 finalists, chosen by public nominations.
• You have one vote for each of the three People's Choice Awards, make them count.
• Voting means you stand the chance to win a R5,000 V&A shopping voucher.
• Voting closes on 14 September 2025.
• Winners will be announced at the the official V&A Neighbourhood Awards ceremony, based on the highest number of public votes.
